December, Where Hath Thou Gone?

This month is blowing by. At the same time, it feels like Christmas will never get here. I know as soon as it shows itself, it’ll be over in a flash, and that will disappoint me because it’s my favorite time of the year. From October through December, everything’s fun and, while I’m always freezing, it’s a happy time with family and friends.

Since November, unfortunately, I haven’t worked on my writing. Shame on me! I haven’t meant to get lazy with it, especially since I did so well last month. Time’s just gotten away from me again. As much as I love everything I’ve been doing lately, it’s definitely been a busy couple of weeks. On the plus side, I’ve made it to the gym twice this week. Better than my big fat 0 since September.

I’m hoping to make twice a week a habit, at least to start. I’ve been low in the energy department, and after all the treats I’ve had at work and at home, I probably ought to be friends with the treadmill.

January is around the corner. It’s the time for people to make resolutions–most that aren’t kept. I guess I better start thinking what kind of year I’d like to make 2019. If I get my goals sorted out with the necessary game plan to meet them, having some forethought should make a difference.

For now, I’m going to watch The Holiday. It’s one of my favorites.

Merry Christmas, everyone!
